BROWN BEGINS SCHOOLING Lancaster Starter Educating Horses to Break from Waite Gate Meeting Opens Saturday. LANCASTER, Ohio, June 24 Thomas J. Brown, who will serve as racing secretary and starter for the eight-day thoroughbred r-;e meeting that opens at the Fairfield County Fair Grounds here on Saturday, has begun the schooling of horses from the Waite starting gate. H- announces that over 200 horses will be available for the meeting, which inaugurates the summer turf season in Ohio. A number of the horses here campaigned at Beulah Park and among the good wiriV ners at that course that will race here are Computer and Miss Adele. Each won three times at Grove City. Stables on the grounds include R. E. Spicer, with Persuader and others; R. J. M.-re, D. Hoffman, C. T. Hall, R. Flinchum, Jewel Brothers, John Money. N. E. Shop, A. K. Miller and Harry Smart. I. J. Collins will send a division of his stable from Detroit to race in his home city. Harry Wiener, who was one of the leading trainers at Beulah Park, will return his horses from Latonia and a half-dozen other stables will come from that point.
