BEN KYGER, closest to the early pace, moved up gamely when urged, wore down TEMPERMENTAL inside the Final eighth and, drawing away, won easily. OPAL M. D., forced to race wide in the early part, closed gamely on the outside in the stretch and finished well. COLORATION lacked early speed, saved ground all the way and closed well. TEMPERMENTAL broke fast, showed good speed in the pacemaking, but tired badly near the end. McLARNEY started slowly, worked his way up through the field, closed gamely in the stretch, but did not threaten tho winner. DUNCE, well placed early, gained gradually and finished gamely. MARGARET NADI moved into the lead with a rush on the lower turn, but tired in the final eighth. CHANTESUTA was outrun. TEXTIMES showed speed for three-eighths, then tired badly. TEXAS MOON swerved slightly at the start, was away slowly, raced wide throughout, came with a rush in the stretch and got up to win in the final stride. HARVEYS CHOICE, closest to the early pace, responded gamely to urging, saved ground entering the stretch, took a short lead1 when straightened out, held on gamely and just failed to last. SYLACAUGA, well placed early, gained -gradually in the stretch and fought it out gamely. MONOCLE, far back for the first three-quarters, closed with a rush in the stretch and finished gamely.
