KRUTCKOFF AND BIDWILL CONFER WITH J. A. MURPHY DETROIT, Mich. June 29. Charles Krutckoff, president of the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association which operates Hawthorne, and Charles W. Bidwill, vice president, came over from Chicago for aconference with Joseph A. Murphy. When notified of the wonderful opening Arlington Park had, the Hawthorne officials were very pleased and stated that they believe Hawthorne would have one of its greatest seasons. They returned to Chicago tonight.
