RIVER DOWNS STAKE LIST Judge Joseph A. Murphy Announces List of Feature Attractions for Coming- Meeting. CINCINNATI, Ohio, April 9. Plans for the coming spring meeting at the River Downs race track in Cincinnati, Ohio, are coming along nicely and the entire plant will be in tip-top shape within several weeks. The spring session will get under way at the beautiful River Downs course Wednesday, May 4, and will continue to May 30. The opening day program will consist of eight races with the running of the Inaugural Day Handicap for three-year-olds and upward, over the six-furlong route, as the feature attraction on the card. Joseph A. Murphy, director of racing, announced that the following major stake events will be run during the twenty-three day session: the Hopeful Handicap, ,000 added; the Hotel Gibson Handicap, ,000 added; the Hotel Sinton Handicap, ,000 added; the Netherland Plaza Handicap, ,500 added, and the Decoration Day Handicap, ,000 added.
