The latter was raced forwardly from the start, was placed under pressure in the final eighth and finished well. TWO CENTS was kept in a forward position, from the start and had no mishaps. WEST HADDON moved up fast from a slow beginning, raced true all the way, but faltered at the finish. CORONADO swerved under pressure during the running. WICKET had no mishaps in the running. SISTER ANN showed an even effort. GREENY faltered steadily at the end. REPELLER lacked early speed. ERRATIC could not keep up. VICUNA swerved to the inside. BABY CURLS had no mishaps. DONNA LEONA was well up from the start and had no mishaps. JEWELL DORSETT, away well, dropped back and, placed under pressure, could not menace the leaders. LA CHARITE lacked early speed. MAEFLEET moved up well on the inside after the break, dropped back rounding the stretch turn and then came again at the finish. BAR FLY was close up the first part, but sprawled in the going. The latter forced the pace from the start, was taken back when EVEN UP moved into the lead, assumed command again in the stretch and finished well. RED ENSIGN appeared unable to negotiate the going and, after being close up in the early running ducked to the inside in the final sixteenth.
