CHREVEPORT BOOKS READY t SHREVEPORT, La., Sept. 30. Emmett Hilcman, racing secretary of the coming meeting at the Shrevcport Fair Grounds track, whose twenty-five-day meeting opens on October 22, is expected here momentarily and upon his arrival xwill release his first book of conditions. Copies of the book will be sent to the northern tracks, from which I Shreveport will attract its racing material, and they also will be available at the local I offices of the track. Purses here will be 00, 00 and 00 and if the racing mate-I rial on hand warrants the management has . asserted it will arrange several special 1 events with purses of greater value.
