LADY ALBERT G., well ridden, worked her way up gradually, took command in the stretch and won asily. WHATAGAL, badly outrun early and slow to respond to strong riding, rallied in the last three-sixteenths and finished boldly after having closed a gap. IMPERIAL RONIE, also -raced wide, moved up on the turn, then hnng briefly soon after reaching the stretch, but came again in the late stages. VULJEST had no mishaps. MOLLY FLY quit badly after showing speed to the stretch. SHAWANA showed little. MISS TAOS had early speed. MR. Won ridden out; second and third driving. TONEYS TOMBOY, away fast and having speed from the start, drew clear easily after reaching the turn, tired sharply in the final eighth and had to bo ridden out. CHARMED ONE, also away fast but unable to keep up, was taken to the inside after a quarter, responded to stronger pressure in the final quarter and was getting to the winner. NEMRAC, under energetic riding from the start, moved up in the stretch, swerved out in the final eighth and tired near the close. ISOLENE. forced to race wide, also faltered in the late stages. MONTELL, very rank, unsealed his rider several times and on one occasion straddled the inner rails in repeated wild lunges en route to the post, then raced fairly well. GLADYS GLAD tired badly fter showing early speed. MELVA JANE quit. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. DROMBO took command quickly, was rated along to the final quarter, continued with good energy to the final eighth, where he tired, yet managed to last. BOSTON SOUND, nearest in pursuit of the leader from the start and kept on the inside to the stretch, was inclined to bear over, while moving up slowly in the drive and might otherwise have gotten up. STAR BESS raced wide, was a prominent factor from the start and held on well. WORTHING saved much ground while showing an even effort. CALCULATOR was held safe. JJARK SEEKER lost much ground and did not threaten. EP showed only a flash of early speed. MARY VITO sulked much of the race. MISTER JACKO, allowed to remain out of it early, began to move up on . the inside approaching the stretch, luckily worked his way out of close quarters without damage to his chances soon after reaching the final quarter, closed in resolute fashion after coming out and wore down NIGHT RAVEN in the final strides. The latter, inclined to bear out on the turns, disposed of TWO TRICKS after a half mile, easily held HOOK IT safe and fought it out with fine courage, but was not good enough. HOOK IT, rated under a good hold for about five-eighths, made a weak bid when called upon and gave way steadily in the last eighth. FANFERN was in a contending position from the start, rallied mildly entering the stretch, but did not keep up in the last three-sixteenths. GLEANING RUTH lost much ground. TWO TRICKS quit. OPERA STAR made the early pace under a good hold, swerved out when entering the stretch, drew clear when straight and, holding on with determination, withstood SLY GAL. The latter, probably best and forced to race very wide throughout, began to move up on the stretch turn, continued strongly in the final quarter and barely missed getting up. DIXIE GIRL, a prominent factor from the start and saving much ground, dropped back slightly soon after reaching the stretch, but came again to fight it out gamely to the end. ELOOTO was under pressure from the start and cave way slightly in the closing stages ALLANWOOD held on well. MOORISH raced wide. FARQUHAR, reserved off the pace under stout restraint, raced around the leaders gradually and without need of strong urging, swerved in front of ALMAC after taking the lead and came away when straight. WAYALOFT was nicely rated while making the early pace, came out slightly in the stretch and readily gave way to. the winner, yet held on well to the last sixteenth before tiring. ALMAC raced prominently from the start, had to be eased just a trifle as the winner swerved before hini in the stretch and coming again when clear, might have been second in another stride. TOWSON had no mishaps. SPAN1T, well up and in hand for three-quarters, held on well .in the stretch, but was not good enough. BIT O BLACK made the pace under good rating, held on well to the last eighth and then tired. RHETT, in hand for three-quarters, was hard ridden thereafter and held on fairly well. INTRIP made up ground and raced wide. JACONUT failed to rally when called upon after three-quarters. FLORENCE B.
