FINNISH SHIP IN DANGER LONDON, England, Nov. 24. The Finnish training ship- Soumen Jourtsen, with sixty cadets and seventy members of the crew aboard, is in distress in a gale in the Bay of Biscay, according to a message today from Lorient on the French coast. The training ship sent out an S. O. S. call and reported she was being battered by a violent gale. The Soumen Jourtsen is a three- i masted sailing vessel of 2,259 tons, with two auxiliary motors.
