LEXINGTON TURF NOTES f s J. Harry Patterson is taking a carload of horses to Havana for the forthcoming Oriental Park meeting. It is a public stable and he says he has room for one or two more. Col. E. It. Bradley is planning to leave Idle Hour Stock Farm for his winter home at Palm Beach, Fla., December 15. His birthday anniversary is December 12. C. Barry Shannon, fiscal manager for Colonel Bradley will leave for Palm Beach with his family on December 7. Information from Miami and Palm .Beach is to the effect that many persons who have been in the habit of going to European points, particularly spas in Germany,, at this time of the year, arid who usually do not get to Florida until February are already at Palm Beach, Miami and other points. Ham H. McCormick, secretary-treasurer of the Miami Jockey Club, who will return to Miami this week-end to remain through the j winter, says the indications are that racing in "Florida will have better patronage this coming winter than at any time since 1930. Gene Wagers and Oblivious, now at Keene-land, are soon to be shipped to California to be raced by Joe Johnson. Oblivious is owned by J. Keene Daingerfield, Jr., and Gene Wagers is the property of his cousin, Miss Janet Van Winkle, of Louisville. Three yearlings bought at the Lexington sales by John D. Murphee and now being trained by J. Keene Daingerfield, Jr., have been named as follows: Green Turban, br. f, by Islam Anna Leighton; Lord Justice, b. c, by Justice F. Lina Clark, and No Date, b. g, by Hadagal Dicks Daughter. Trainer Emerson Davis intends to ship , Conn Smythes string December 15 from Keeneland to Oaklawn Park, Hot Springs. A last moment decision on the part of Warxen Wright, master of Calumet Farm, ; was that Count Morse should be added to j the string for Florida racing, and he was put into one of the cars which Wednesday i night went southward with the charges of trainer Frank Kearns and his staff, making a total of sixteen head. The entire blue grass region is blanketed with snow, the first of this season.
