1 TANFORAN TURF NOTES Jim Allen, well known jockeys agent has taken over the engagement book of jockey Frank Scheihing. Allen will also have Scheihings book at Santa Anita this winter. Jockey R. Varner, contract rider for Bruce Broadfoot departed Wednesday for Agua Caliente, where he will pilot the Broadfoot horses the first four days. Varner will return to Tanforan the early part of the week. Jockey Jack Fuche was an arrival at Tanforan Thursday, from New York, where he rode all summer. Fuche will ride free lance here. The stewards have placed Easter Jane and Two Sons on the stewards sick list. Both horses are lame and will have to be okayed by the track veterinarian before they will be permitted to start.
