ORTHODOX BREAKS LEG SAN BRUNO, Calif., Nov. 24. Orthodox, a four-year-old gelding, broke his leg while racing in front of the field during the stretch run of the fourth race at Tanforan this afternoon. The animal, owned by M. Simon, was leading the pack of twelve by two lengths when he went down. Jockey Silvio Coucci was not injured but Orthodox was destroyed.
