. v PROPOSE 2 PER CENT PAY TAX PHILADELPHIA, Pa., Nov. 24. It is understood that a bill will be introduced in the city council shortly calling for a 2 per cent tax on salaries and wages of all who work in this city, whether they reside here or not. It is said that the majority of members in the council arc in favor of the measure.
