REPORTS EMPLOYMENT GAIN Secretary of Labor Frances Perkins reported Wednesday that during the past four months non-agricultural employment increased about 900,000. During the month of October alone employment rose 248,000. Miss Perkins estimated that non-agricultural employment has now reached 34,400,000, as compared with 37,000,000 in September, 1937, and 38,000,000 in 1929.
