MAYERS YEARLING PROSPECT LOS ANGELES, Calif., Nov. 30. Louis B. Mayer, recently purchased a beautiful weanling in Kentucky and the baby has just arrived at Marwyck Ranch, where she will be boarded for the next several months. The weanling is a chestnut filly by the Kentucky Derby winner, Bold Venture, and from the mare Footprint. Manager Harry S. Hart of the Marx-Stanwyck nursery at San Fernando, says the weanling is one of the best looking infant thoroughbreds he has ever seen. She is turned out now at Marwyck with five other weanlings, sons and daughters of The Nut, up and coming young stallion of the Fair Play line, which stands at Marwyck Ranch.
