BORAH AGAINST "AGGRESSORS" WASHINGTON, D. C, Nov. 30. Senator William E. Borah, Republican, of Idaho, today denounced renewed agitation for the United States to join other nations in naming war aggressors and to boycott them. "The phrase aggressor nation," Borah said, "is a phrase of silly origin and a sad history. Lets not try to drag that out for further use. An issue of that kind could kill half the next session of congress to the detriment of things that need our immediate attention." Borahs observations were in accord with those of many other senators who are opposed to American entrance into the League of Nations or any combination like it. Borahs statement was interpreted as notice to the administration that if it attempts to obtain legislation to throw the economic power of this country against "aggressors," a titantic struggle in congress will ensue.
