EDEN TO MEET PRESIDENT WASHINGTON, D. C, Dec. 3. Anthony Eden, Britains former foreign secretary, will confer with President Roosebelt and Acting Secretary of State Sumner Welles when he visits Washington December 13. Welles said today that the appointments for Eden were requested by Sir Ronald Lindsay, British ambassador, who sailed for England on a long-deferred vacation. The acting secretary said that it was his understanding that Eden will visit the United States in his capacity as a member of the British House of Commons.
