... I BLACK HAWKS AND BOSTON BRUINS CLASH SUNDAY j i. A j The Chicago Black Hawks meet the Boston Bruins Sunday night at the Chicago Stadium and first place in the National Hockey League is at stake. The Hawks will appear minus the veteran defenseman Alex Levinsky, who was suspended after the drubbing received Thursday by a rejuvenated Detroit team. In addition to Levinsky, the consistent "Doc" Romnes will be absent Sunday evening. Romnes has . been ailing with an injured leg and the aftermath of an attack of influenza. Jenkins will be in Levinskys place, and Bob Gracie J will fill in for "Doc" Romnes. I In confronting the Bruins for the first j time this year, the Hawks will find them j changed by the loss of "Tiny" Thompson at goal and strengthened by the addition of young players. Of the great Bruin team of 1929-30, which lost only five games and set a league scoring record, only the perpetual Eddie Shore, "Dit" Clapper and Cooney Wei- j land remain. !
