BAR W. E. THURBER HORSES SAN BRUNO, Calif., Dec. 3. Owner W. E. Thurber got himself in bad with the stewards when he became peeved over the fact that C. G. Patmon had claimed Sir Ridgway, one of his horses. It is reported that Thurber engaged an attorney in an attempt to prevent Patmon from racing Sir Ridgway and the stewards after stating that they had proved beyond a doubt that the claim was legal ordered all horses owned and trained by Thurber to be barred from racing for the rest of the meeting.
