LEG CAUGHT IN ELEVATOR John Peterson, 24, of 410 West Seventy-Ninth Street, a messenger for Washburn andi Crosby Flour Mills, while attempting to leave an elevator in the Board of Trade Building as the door was closing, caught his I foot in the elevator door on the fourteenth I floor. All elevators suspended operation and I both mechanics and firemen proceeded to ex-i tricate him. Peterson was removed to St. I Lukes Hospital. 1
