GIBRALTAR TO BE REINFORCED LONDON, England, April 19. Gibraltar will be reinforced at once by two army battalions, the war office announced today, as Spanish troop concentration continued near "the Rock," and German warships moved down for maneuvers off Spain. The army transport Somersetshire, with the first battalion of the Argyle Sutherland Highlanders and the first battalion of the Welsh Regiment, which were en route to Palestine, will remain at Gibraltar until the first battalion of Welsh guards arrives from England. The Welsh guards will be stationed at Gibraltar indefinitely.
