FLASH FLASH, away fast and hustled along from the start, was forced wide by BRILLIANT GOLD on the stretch turn and, moving up fast when straight, took command in the final eighth and won drawing away. SOME POLLY, a strong factor from the start, was in close quarters in the stretch, but held on well. BRILLIANT GOLD, rushed to the front, was unable to draw clear, carried the winner wide on the turn and tired in the closing stages. VALEO raced evenly. SPEEDY SQUAW came from far back. COLUMBIAS BOY tired. LAMBETH had a rough race and was blocked when improving her position in the stretch. HURRIGAL was unable io keep up. PINKYS SISTER and KREMLIA were unprepared at the start. CENTUPLE, slow to start and rushed up thereafter saved ground entering the stretch, only to tire near the finish. BOBS SQUAD, hustled along from the start, quit badly in the final eighth.
