LIGHTSPUR STILL UNCERTAIN LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 19. Although trainer Roscoe Goose has not definitely determined whether it will be possible to have John Marschs Lightspur, a Derby eligible, ready for his best effort at the long Derby distance by May 6, he said today a decision may be possible following the coifs next serious workout. The Marsch horse, according to Goose, probably would round to form more rapidly if favored with warmer weather than has prevailed here the past several weeks. Goose said that the horse seems to do better when the weather is mild and better still in midsummer.
