Vanderbilt stable, an eligible for the Chesapeake Stakes on Saturday, was worked an easy mile in 1:54. He was handled by jockey L. Fallon. The horses of J. Y. Christmas were transferred from Bowie to the grounds of the Maryland Jockey Club. After the, Pimlico meeting the horses will be moved to New York. Day Off, from the Greentree Stable, was unloaded by trainer J. M. Gaver at Havre de Grace early Wednesday morning. The colt was shipped here from Keeneland Park to start in the Chesapeake Stakes on Saturday. Giles County, of the Milky Way Farm stable of Mrs. Ethel V. Mars, has been made eligible for the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico by a supplementary received by the Maryand Jockey Club. The apprentice allowance on Patsey Begone, a starter in the fourth race, for J. Y. Pyle and Lady Solace in the fifth for D. Christmas, was waived with permission of the stewards. The schooling list was increased to fifteen pupils when Arbitrage and Maroc joined classes after behaving badly at the gate Monday.
