APPREHEND, suited by the footing and permitted to gain his best stride after being taken off the rail, vorked his way up on the outside when shaken up and, going to the loaders midway of the stretch, responded well to get up in the last sixteenth. SYLVIA G. was prominent under strong urging and closed courageously in the final drive. HIBLAZE was unable to get clear after moving to the front, saved ground where possible and fought it out gamely. MATTAPONY, lacking early speed, closed fast in the drive. TULEYRIES LIN was Well up all the way. TUTTICURIO finished in close quarters. RIOTOUS could not get into contention. WAUGH POP had no mishaps. I AIR STREAM tired under punishment in the final eighth. NICKY was hard ridden throughout. STAGE- FRIGHT tired after three-eighths. HUGOOD could not reach the leaders. WISE GLANCE lacked speed. I FLORADORA GIRL lost ground. MISS MAKER was fractious at the gate and became wedged between the stalls when she fell before the start. GRAND PAGEANT reached a forward position early, moved up fast nearing the stretch, overhauled the loaders to open up a wide lead, and drew away without effort at the close. IVY X. improved her position steadily after the first three eighths, but could not menace the winner. MYSTERY MISS was rushed hard to keep up with the leaders in the first half mile, then weakened badly under punishment when reaching the stretch. COURSING could not better his position under a stout drive. ZELITONE was never dangerous. BUTTERMAN showed a lot of early speed, but was made too much use of, and he tired badly. PRAIRIE MAN was outrun. SIR MOWLEE was held safe. The others were outrun. The latter, unable to hold a contending position early, gained fast on the outside in the last half mile. LIGHT CHATTER, racing on the inside, was made too much use of when rushed along with the leaders. ROYAL BUSINESS closed a big gap. CULDEE tired after throe-eighths. GORSE had no mishaps.
