Police said Herman Webber, 27, was hit on the jaw with a hurled rock in a battle between A. F. L. automobile workers union members picketing the gates of the Fisher plant and C. I. O. automobile workers unionists. The pickets, police said, charged a group of men I wearing C. I. O. arm bands and the fighting broke out.
