THORXLEA. slow as usual at the start, gradually worked way forward on the outside, closed gamely to the end and outfinished WICKLOW. The latter forced the pace from the start and closed gamely. BELLE FULLER saved cround entering the stretch. SATIX ROCK made up eround. BATOX DAMOUR was away slowly and closed a big gap. RISCO and VICEREINE quit. FAY VIXEX had sneed for a half mile. CLARKSDALE raced BOBS FIRST into defeat the first five eighths, closed gamely and outfinished IX FROXT. The latter, slow to settle in best stride, worked way through on the inside the first half mile, came to the outside for the drive and closed gamely under pressure. BOBS FIRST sprinted to the lead from the start, set the pace to the final eighth, then faltered in the drive. DIXIE PRIXCESS made up ground the final three-eighths. ZOWIE dropped back leaving the back stretch and could never threaten thereafter. BLUE WREX had brief speed. BLUE ICE and RAKBAK wore never prominent. MISS VERCHERES raced forvvardiy placed in the early running, dropped back in the back stretch, then came again through the final three-eighths to outfinish BARBARA H. The latter saved ground entering the stretch and closed with a rush to the end. BLACK ASH worked way forward on the outside in the first seven-eighths, then hung through the drive. WOODSIGHT made up ground. SAUER KRAUT was never prominent. PATSY MAC and RADIUS quit after three-quarters. ERINDALE MISS dwell slightly at the start and was outrun. The latter raced well placed throughout and had no excuses. DOXEDXA faltered in the stretch. SYXGO BAY could never threaten. SEA CADET quit after a half mile.
