JACOLA BOWED A TENDON STANTON, Del., June 15.— Selby Burch, trainer of Edward Friendlys distance running filly, Jacola, stated here today that the four-year-old daughter of Jacopo bowed a tendon in the running of the Newcastle Handicap and that her racing days are ended. Jacola for two seasons in her two-and three-year-old form was considered one of the best of her sex and scored in many of the leading fixtures including the Selima Stakes at Laurel. Jacola will more than likely be sold by her owner for a brood mare although plans are not definite at this time,
