TALBOTT COMMISSION STEWARD NEW YORK, N. Y., June 15.— The New York State Racing Commission announced today through Herbert Bayard Swope that Harold E. Talbott, Jr., who has been identified with racing for some time, particularly with steeplechasing and cross-country events, has been designated as the commission steward at. the Hunts meetings. Mr. Talbotts Ship Executive recently won the Meadow-brook Steeplechase Handicap at Belmont Park. Other horses owned by Mr. Talbott are Barricade II., Big Rebel, Brother Jones, Kummel and Sheathe.
