Jake Lowenstein in Mishap LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 4.— Jake Lowenstein, Illinois turfman, suffered shoulder and foot injuries when struck by a bale of hay which fell from the loft of his barn here yesterday morning. He was removed to a local hospital for X-rays and further examination, but was able to be at the track today.
