Hold Public Sale of Horses In Downs Paddock Friday LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 6.— Twenty or more horses already have been consigned to the public sale of horses which C. W. McFerran, Jr., of the Kentucky Bloodstock Sales Company, will conduct at 10 oclock Friday morning in the paddock at Churchill Downs. W. C. Weant, trainer of the horses owned by J. Fred Miles, has consigned a number of thoroughbreds. Among them are Fickleness, Minocqua, Idatam, Time to Shine, Dark Fortune, Johnnie Ehret, Pink Clover, Pennington, Homeward, Gay Nellie and Cunning Anne. The Brown Hotel Stable is disposing of Joculard, Jealous Spring and Rhumba Queen, and the Pearlwinn Stable is selling Verity B., Rome, Free Bid and several others. Tom Jolley and others also are consigning horses to the McFerran sale.
