i Lincoln Fields Stakes Closing CRETE, 111., May 13.— Nominations for the five stakes to be run at the Lincoln Fields meeting close this Friday, May 15. The added money events whose deadlines are at hand are the Crete Handicap, at six furlongs, to be run May 23; Francis S. Peabody Memorial, at a mile and a sixteenth, the feature on May 30; Joliet Stakes, for two-year-olds at five furlongs, scheduled for June 6; the La Salle Handicap, at a mile and three-sixteenths, the headline event on June 13, and the Lincoln Handicap, at a mile and a quarter, which features the closing-day program on June 20. The added money value of each is ,000.
