KELLY to draw away at the end JOHNNY JR.. a prominent factor all the way, was under pressure in the stretch and held on with good courage. ALETERN finished well on the outside to outlast ONE LINK. The latter came through on the inside entering the stretch after overcoming interference. LARRUP finished well. PHARATHEEN lacked earlv speed but finished fast between horses. LOUISVILLE II. could not keep up. THUMBS UP was in close quarters going to the far turn. SON ISLAM faltered in the stretch. PARK BENCH had a flash of earlv speed. W. H. KELLY quit badly. NAVIGATING raced forwardly from the start and overcame light interference, responded to hand urging and wore down LITTLE DIANA at the end. The latter, a prominent factor from the start, responded when urged, assumed a brief lead, but could not stand off the winner. DAIRY LADY, on the inside, closed with good courage. BASHFUL was well up from the start and then tired. SHANNON was shuffled back in the early running and then came with a rush on the inside in the final eighth. ALAGNES raced greenly throughout. MISS GOSLING had no mishaps. NANNY BONES raced greenly throughout. GOLF WIDOW had no mishaps. MISS PURITAN dropped back in the final eighth. FIFTH RACE 3-4 MILE Main Course. The latter was sprinted into command after the start and held on well under urging to the end. MINEE-MO was well up under steady restraint and made up ground when urged in the stretch. TWO TON TONY, on the outside and a prominent factor throughout, faltered in the final eighth. THE FINEST raced well and had no mishaps. DON JUAN II. came with a belated rush. HOPTOWN LASS, a prominent factor throughout, had no mishaps. GENERAL JACK showed early speed and then quit. ENOCH BORLAND failed to respond when placed under pressure entering the stretch. BRIGHT GRAY closed some ground at the end. CONNACHTA went wide throughout. BUCKLE UP had no mishaps. HISTRIONIC went lame entering the stretch and was pulled up.
