Basileus II. Set for U. S. Bow PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 1. — What promises to be the most interesting importation of the year, Basileus II., owned by Isador Bieber, is expected to make his American debut during the course of the Pimlico meeting. The information came from trainer Hirsch Jacobs who will ship Basileus II. from New York probably along with Stymie. Both are likely starters in the Dixie Handicap on May 9. Basileus II. had an impressive record in French and English stakes and is a five-year-old son of Victrix — Barberybush II.
