From Twelve to Fourteen May SeekDixie Handicap PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 1.— Interest continues to grow in the running of the Dixie Handicap on Friday, May 9, and a check of the nominees by racing secretary Charles J. McLennan reveals that from a dozen to 14 horses may be regarded as possibilities for the 0,000 race, at the famed mile and three-sixteenths distance. Withdrawal of Calumet Farms Armed from the line-up of Dixie probables, may result in a larger field than would have been the case if he was ready for the issue.
