Large Texas Delegation To Witness Derby Running CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville. Ky.. May 1.— The Lone Star State of Texas, prominent in Kentucky Derby history and home of Assault, winner of the 1946 renewal of the Classic, will have a large representation in Louisville for Saturdays race. The first of several special trains engaged to transport the larger groups from Dallas, Houston, Fort Worth and San Antonio arrived today, bearing 125 from the Austin-San Antonio area. Among those making the trip were Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Wilson and their party, requiring an entire car, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Beard, Mrs. Malcolm Reid, Mrs. William Wolfe, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hilge, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Woodward. Mrs. Jack Neal, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond R. Russell and their son, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Koehler and family, Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Harrison and Mr. and Mrs. Maynor Puckett.
