Maryland Breeders Group Holds Meeting on Tuesday PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., Mary 1.— Humphrey Finney, field secretary of the Maryland Horse Breeders Association, today revealed that more than 150 acceptances have been received for the nineteenth annual dinner and business of the association to be held in the Pimlico clubhouse on Tuesday evening, May 6, following the races. The meeting will bring an election of directors by the voting membership after which the directors will name a slate of officers for the coming year. At present, the Maryland Horse Breeders Association is without a president, Joseph Flannagan having resigned upon being named steward representing the state at all Maryland tracks. Stuart S. Janney, Jr., a director of the association, will be unable to stand for re- election because of his recent appointment to the chairmanship of the State Racing Commission.
