MARLED, a prominent factor from the start, was forced wide on the stretch turn and, under pressure, disposed of the leader to draw away. HI BERT improved his position, came through on the inside and finished well. GUSHER, on the outside, lost ground on the stretch turn, but finished fast. MIL EL. on the inside all the way, showed a good effort. PLAYING POMP raced evenly LOST CONTROL had early speed and bore out on the stretch turn, then quit. . DOLOMITE could not keep up. TOP KNOT, in near pursuit of the pace, responded when roused in the stretch, wore down FLAG OPEACE and drew away easily. The latter was hustled into command, showed early speed and had no mishap. POPPA GEORGE was well up on the outside and held on well. MISS GALBUC, a prominent factor from ths beginning, had no mishap. TEANECK DANDY could not keep up. TOURIST PRIDE began slowly. MISS GREEK began slowly. MAUDEAUX went wide on the far and stretch turns. FRANPER saved ground, but quit badly. SWIMMIN HOLE was close up from the start, but failed to respond when roused. MARSEILLES showed a good effort. COMANCHE PEAK was as good as left and finished fastest on the outside. RIGHT HAPPY, a trailer early, improved his position and finished fast. AIR POWER was sent into command after the start and showed high speed, but tired at the end. 0MAMAX could not gain on the leaders when urged. MIDDLE MAN quit badly.
