James Clyburn Dies CHURCHILL DOWNS. Louisville, Ky.. May. 7. — Horsemen and officials at Churchill Downs were saddened today when word was received of the death of James Clyburn at Lexington. Clyburn was well known to many turfmen and he was the lessee of Hamburg Place, noted thoroughbred nursery just outside of Lexington.
