New England Notes SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 7. B. E. Chapman, who wintered a public stable at Marshfield, Mass., has been preparing his string at Suffolk Downs for the meeting here. Ben is one of the oldest trainers here, having trained and owned horses for 55 years. In keeping with the TRA Code of Standards, tentatively held in abeyance at the request of HBPA, all employes of the track are being fingerprinted in the administration building. Aghadee, three-year-old filly, now In . training, will be seen under colors next week at Suffolk Downs. Aghadee is owned by P. Laudati, Rhode Island theater o wrier, and is trained by Harry Barnett. Starter Bob Frend has placed Cindy Lee and Clansman on his schooling list. Cindy Lee refused to break from the gate, while Clansman wheeled at the start of Mondays sixth race. G. S. Smith has brought in eight horses from Laurel, including The Cleaner and Knighthood. F. Wirth has checked in the Suffolk Downs jockey room. He will do the riding for Ed Lucas. W. C. "Bill" Daly, of Grove City, Ohio. has purchased Sandlapper at private terms from the Boshamer Stable. R. Cramer has vanned in five head to the Suffolk barns from Rockingham Park, including Quien Es, Judge O., Private Howie, Lady Carry and Sweet Sarah. Earl Snyder also arrived from his Framingham Farm with Aerial Actress, Top Beau, Idle Fool and Starissa. Jockey Joe Wagner checked in today from Havre de Grace and plans to ride throughout the Suffolk Downs meeting.
