Brooks to Ride Phar Mon CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 7. — Jockey Steve Brooks has been engaged to handle William Veenemans two-year-old Phar Mon in the 0,000 Bashford Manor Stakes to be run here Saturday, according to Brooks agent, Harry Howard. The Easy Mon colt in his last engagement romped to an easy victory in the 0,000 Lafayette Stakes at Keeneland and is the present choice for the Churchill Downs Juvenile Fixture.
