Busher Works Six Furlongs SANTA ANITA PARK, Arcadia, Calif., May 7. — The great race mare, Busher, leading money gleaner of her sex, who was purchased out of the Mayer dispersal sale by Neil S. McCarthy for 35,000, is progressing steadily in her training. Last Saturday she went six furlongs in 1:15, handily, and this morning, under the observation of McCarthy, went another easy three-quarters in 1:18, breaking from the three-quarter pole. McCarthy expressed himself as optimistic regarding her chances of returning to the races and picking up where she left off so illustriously.
