Woolford to Race 36 Head at Lincoln Meet Sublime Is Stables Main Hope For Stake Events at Session HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., May 7.— The Woolford Farm of Herbert M. Woolf, of Kansas City, will have powerful representation at the Lincoln Fields-at-Hawthorne meeting starting Monday, May 12, and continuing for 30 days at the Cicero course The division of the stable that raced in Florida was united with those who had wintered at the farm for this meeting, and trainer Ed Anspach now has 36 horses in his care. Anspach will place his hopes for the stake events at the Lincoln Fields meeting on Sublime, the four-year-old full sister of the stables distance-running ace, Historian, who is six. Anspach feels that it will suit Historian better to be brought around slowly, following his emergence from winter quarters, but while the son of Lawrin has not been pointed for the stakes at the Lincoln Fields meeting, he may be seen under silks during the session. Anspach feels that Delegate, who stamped himself definitely as a sprinter during his Florida campaign, is entitled to a rest before being pointed for the stiff three-year-old sprints for which he will be made eligible in the Chicago area. The Woolford Farm menage includes Amphibian, Approval, Affiant, Alamein, Analysis, Big Wig, Conformable, Compelling, Devastating, Delightful, Expediter. Emphasis, Easy Rhythm, Enchanting, Fast Mail, Headline, Hasty Sun, Legislator, Leavenworth, Nonchalanta, Oh Boy. Reelon Miss, Recognition, Stipulation, Success, Saxbee, Trade Mark, True Dawn, Upswing, Unshakable, Westernaire, and Zestful.
