Dan E. Stewart Brings Six Racers to Washington Park SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 13. — Dan S. Stewart, who has spent many summers conditioning horses in the Chicago area, arrived today at Washington Park from Churchill Downs. Stewart brought in a half dozen campaigners owned by various patrons. Among the band was P. A. B. Widener in.s Happy C, one of the more consistent performers seen this season and a nominee for the Crete Handicap, feature event on Mondays opening day card of the Lincoln Fields-at-Washington Park meeting. Stewart has trained horses for three generations of the Widener family. He saddled Roman in the 1940 Kentucky Derby for the late Joseph E.
