TIGER NIP broke sluggishly, was sent up fast on the inside, took command early, drew out and won as rider pleased. SUNNY LIMITED moved readily on the outside after a quarter, but was unable to reach the leader. I FORGOT weakened after racing with the pace from the start. HI LANDING passed tiring horses. TAB0SA went evenlly. MURRAY MAID had speed for a half. FAIRJETE flashed speed for a quarter, then held on gamely. BONES APARTE quit badly. The others were outrun. FLY PIGEON closed resolutely on the extreme outside. KHORAWYCH forced the pace and held on gamely. GLORY BE, slow to settle into best stride, loomed as a threat along the inside, then faltered. GOOD FUN was well placed throughout. VIRGINIA R. W. showed nothing. TO TO LIGHT was never prominent. PILGRIM MAID flashed brief speed. BOSS BROKER improved position steadily en the outside, responded to late pressure and was up to defeat WOLF WHISTLE in the final yards. The latter opened a clear lead at once, saved ground and held on well. COLELCO closed stoutly in the late stages. FITFUL FIRE had no mishap. ROFFIE, well placed, saved ground to maintain position, but failed to respond when put to a drive. RATON passed tiring horses. MEDDLESOME raced evenly. COUNT STEEL broke slowly and was never a factor. JOLLY IRISH showed nothing. NOVADALE flashed speed for a quarter. MR. CHOO CHOO raced very greenly. Overweight— Roffie, 31 pounds; Jolly Irish, 1J. CINDER FOOT broke smartly, was taken under light restraint while maintaining forward position, rallied when sent up on the outside, assumed command and drew out easily. MILK PACT set the pace under urging, turned back repeated bids from BIG REWARD, then held on gamely under pressure. BIG REWARD weakened when unable to gain the lead in the late drive. LOOKOUT SON showed good speed at the start, drew clear before a quarter, maintained his margin despite drifting out in the stretch, was straightened quickly and continued on gamely under pressure. DIRECTOIRE, a forward factor on the outside, closed willingly under pressure. CHARING ROCK forced the pace, was sent to the inside when the leader drifted out, but failed to respond to stout urging. EVENING ROSE went well throughout. PAPER MILL broke well and held on gamely. REBORN made up ground in the late stages. GRACIE SON was unable to reach serious contention. CHUCKALOT had no mishap. MISLEADER lacked early spede. GAY SPARK was caught in close quarters on the far turn and knocked out of contention. U. S. BOUND tired. The latter disposed of MAGIC CHIEF early, drew clear, saved ground and held on tenaciously. DECISION closed sttoutly along the inside with a belated rush. MOKUP raced in spots. MAGIC CHIEF flattened out after staying with the pace to the final turn. INCOPO passed tiring horses. SUNSPARK was never prominent. CRYSTAL DODGER broke badly and was never a factor.
