Harold Roberts, Levert Castille Ride First Winners of Career RANDALL PARK, North Randall, Ohio, May 13.— Apprentices Harold Roberts and Levert Castille rode the first winners of their respective careers yesterday, when Roberts was victorious with A. H. Sumer-lins Double Blitzen in the first race, and Castille scored with Felix J. DeMarys Raydel in the second. Both horses were slightly better than 6 to 1 in the betting, and combined in the Daily Double pool, paid 1.40. Roberts, who accomplished his victory with Double Blitzen in a dead-heat with Floods Charm, is a native of Birmingham, Ala., and made his debut as a rider at this course on last Saturdays opening-day card. He had only three mounts previous to his yesterdays triumph. Roberts is 17 years old and under contract to R. W. McDonnel. Castille is also a Southerner by birth and 17 years of age. He is a native of La Fayette, La., and became attached to racing at the Fair Grounds in New Orleans, at which track he rode several races last winter. Castille is under contract to Orange County, Texas, owner, Felix J. DeMary, who last year brought out the* sensational apprentice, Clarence Picou.
