YOUNG GE0RDIE reached the lead on the rail when TOMMY GENTRY went wide early, was roused repeatedly to maintain the lead, bore in in the final sixteenth and outfinished SANG0NE. The latter bore out on the first turn, was bothered slightly on the final turn and faltered. COMPATRIOT, on the rail, attempted to forge through on the second turn, but was eased back, then took up in the final sixteenth when on the rail and the winner bore in. SUNSTORM, allowed to drop back, closed with a belated rush. PLAY EDA had no excuse. PAPER CLIP was outrun. TOMMY GENTRY bore out early and quit. SIXTH RACE 7-8 MILE out of chute.
