Fourteen Sprinters Go In Camden Handicap Buzfuz Shoulders Top Impost Of 121 in Garden State Event GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 13.— The Camden Handicap, endowed with 5,000 added, at six furlongs, is the salient feature of the second Saturday of this meeting, and attracted 14 starters including some of the better known sprinters. In addition to those who performed here during the past few days, several invaders from New York and Maryland made the trip to vie for the prize money which will gross 8,550, and should all start, the winning owner would net the tidy sum of 3,-175. The recent arrivals from New York are Royal Governor, Macbeth, Buzfuz, Carrara Marble and Pep Well. Top weight of the field is Buzfuz, with 121 pounds, and he will have the veteran Johnny Gilbert astride. Next in line is Ocean Brief, with Bobby Strange in the irons, with 120 pounds, and Royal Governor, 113 pounds, to be ridden by Pete McLean. The others in the field are Picture Card, Touch Control, Little Harp, Erigeron, Pep Well, Faraway, Plumper, Irisen, Carrara Marble, Blue Holly and Macbeth. In addition to the Camden, the Marlton Handicap, for three-year-olds and over, at one mile and one-sixteenth, attracted a field of merit. In here, can be found some of the better type routers who performed well, not only here, but during the winter season. Another race that would on an average day serve as a feature offering is the fourth, an allowance race for three-year-old sprinters. Some of the outstanding members of the secondary flight of the age are found in the overnight list.
