Pinon En Route to Washington With Happy Issue for Crete WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, HI., May 13. — C. H. "Frenchy" Pinon notified officials here today by wire that he is en route to this point with a carload of horses for racing at the Lincoln Fields-at-Wash-ington Park meeting, which opens Monday. Happy Issue, owned and trained by Pinon and a nominee for the Crete Handicap, opening day at the local track, is contained in the shipment due to arrive on the weekend from California. Happy Issue, a nine-year-old daughter of Bow to Me — Achieve, had won numerous important races during her career, including the 1944 running of the 00,000 Hollywood Gold Cup at Hollywood Park on the West Coast.
