Shaffers to Witness Oaks PAIR GRdUNDS, Detroit, Mich., May 24. — E. E. Dale Shaffer, president of the Michigan Racing Association and master of Coldstream Stud, plans to fly to New York to witness the renewal of the American Coaching Club Oaks at Belmont Park next Saturday. Mrs. Shaffer also will make the eastern trip for the stake in which her scarlet and white silks are to be carried by The Fat Lady, recent victress in the Royal Oak Stakes and second to Calumet Farms Wistful in the Kentucky Oaks.
