Ky. Colonel at Washington Jo Seek Peabody Memorial WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., May 24. — The highly respected three-year-old Ky. Colonel was among the shipment trainer John M. Goode brought here this morning for various owners. Ky. Colonel, owned by Joseph A. Goodwin, is a candidate for the Peabody Memorial to be presented here Monday. The others Goode stabled at this Home-wood course are Balla Anna, Pnut Vendor, Black Wind, Song Sparrow, Rosin Red, Spring Chimes, Rebel Raider, Krish Ann, Uncle Otho, Swing Action, Jessamine and Notchstick. Spizerinktom, who was nominated for the Peabody Memorial by owner, Mrs. A. B. Karle, remained in Louisville, Ky., according to Goode and will be freshened up at Douglas Park before a campaign on this circuit.
